Celestial, Stellar

Page history last edited by axcalibar 1 yr ago

This type of celestial is a guardian of the stars. Since stars can be harnessed to create powerful weapons, the Stellars are certain to keep them out of all but the most trustworthy hands. In appearance they are similar to stars in that they are bright, shimmering white lights. Upon close inspection (which usually results in temperary blindness) one may notice a vague humanoid shape with three pairs of wings and a halo of rainbow-colored light. When they move they streak across space like a comet. This movement is also their mode of attack, passing through enemies.

Variable Size Humanoid (Good, Extraplanar)Least 1-5 HD (Small); Lesser 6-10 HD (Medium), Greater 11-15 HD (Medium), Primal 16+ HD (Large)

Streak of Light (Su) - When a Stellar moves, it creates a line of effect between the place it leaves and the place it moves to. All designated targets in this line of effect are subject to an overrun. The Stellar is subject to an AoO during this movement, but are made with a 50% miss chance. In addition to normal overrun effects, those in the line of effect take 3d6 damage from divine power. This damage cannot be reduced by energy resistance or deterred by spell resistance. The Stellar may choose to exclude subjects in the line from the effect.

Light Beam (Su) - Ranged touch attack. 2d6 fire damage. Half this damage come from divine power and cannot be reduced by energy resistance.

Blinding Flash (Su) - A Stellar can release a blinding flare of light once every 1d4 rounds in a 20' burst. This allows a fortitude Save DC 27 to avoid being blinded. Those who make the save are merely dazed for 1d4+1 rounds.
