Heroshi's climates are typically affected by the influence of the planes of fire and water, but altitude comes into play as well.

Tropical Region - The north is a warm climate with sandy deserts, jungles, and savannahs. It is also the location of most active volcanoes. This region is home to orcs, fire giants, and wild elves notably. Temperatures are often significantly above 50 °F year round.

Sub-Tropical Region - Heroshi's sub-tropical region has about 9 months with tempertures above 50 °F.

Temperate Region - The central area is of a mild climate, and has all varieties of terrain. Most of human, halfling, dwarf, gnome, and elf civilization is centered here. Gnolls are common also.

Sub-Arctic Region - Monthly temperatures are above 50 °F for 3 months of the year.

Arctic Region - The south's climate is cold, having icy mountains, boreal forests, and frozen tundra. Trolls and frost giants dominate this area. Temperatures are often significantly below 50 °F year round.
