Okay, for the record, I don't know how freuently anyone has asked anything, but these are questions worthy of consideration.

Q: Which city has a reputation for the greatest warriors?

A: Tespus is famed for its warrior academy.

Q: Which city has a reputation for the greatest wizards?

A: Xeal, but that also has the rep of most haunted city.

Q: Which city has a reputation for the greatest rogues?

A: Skullport (in Morbidia) and Buccaneer's Cove (off the coast of Selene) share this position, as many infmous pirates sail between them.

Q: Which city has a reputation for the greatest priests?

A: Though each temple has its own reputation related to its deity, Losbeth is known as the place to go for true resurrection.

Q: Where is the bad guys at?

A: The elves of Ruundal are horribly xenophobic, but not truly evil, but represent a threat to outsiders who stray into their realm. Duermuir, home of the duergar is a regular source of trouble for Morbidia and Ruundal.

Q: How's that Grok-inspired Orc/Elf unity thing going?

A: While many traditionalist orcs still worship Ameadaeus, worship of Grok-Nall is popular among the young and especially among half-orcs. This has been the cause of more than a few civil wars in Kahl-Tarog. The followers of Grok have expanded into the Eladrin Plateau and have good relations with the wild elves of that region. Half-elven/half-orcs have been born as a result, called Korala-Hai "Harmony of Strength".

Q: Where are the monsters in the east?

A: Though they don't have an above ground presence like they do in the west, they are more ubiquitous. The emperor many generations ago led the daimyos to mobilize their forces against the goblins, ogres, orcs, and other monstrous races (oni) of Anherosh. They were able to drive the orcs to extinction and the other races underground. Many dwell in caverns deep beneath the mountains.

Q: Why aren't there any dwarves in the east?

A: It's the Derro's fault. After flooding out of the eastern end of Vilhan's Folly, the insane, demon corrupted dwarves laid waste to much of the tortoise clan lands and parts of those of the hawk and bear clan. The emperor believed a full dwarven uprising had occurred, spurred on by his own biases against dwarves. He ordered the extermination of the dwarven race. It is worth noting that the emperor of that time had arrisen from the viper clan.

Q: How is the East changing now that some clans are selling mercenary troops and now that Westerners can move to the East?

3/5A: Tthe Wolf and Viper clans have long had a history of selling mercs. Viper clan ninjas are known as the deadliest assassins in the land. Wolf clan warriors are your standard hired thugs/troops for whatever despot pays the price. Expeditions begin by both continents travelling across the ocean to trade and diplomacise with one another. Though many traditionalists remain xenophobic, the Emperor is supportive of relations between the lands. Even diplomacy between the dwarves and easterners is coming about. [see the History page]
