Anherosh

Overall Structure

Government: The political system of Anherosh is a constitutional monarchy. The head of the government is the Premier, and the Emperor is a figurehead. The Premier and Daimyos are offices supposedly elected by the people (the reality is closer to an oligarchy) whereas the Emperor is a hereditary ruler. The empire is made up of provinces in which daimyos fulfill the function of governors. Provinces are subdivided into counties. Counts are appointed by daimyos, though the shogun and magistrate sometimes function in that capacity as well (for instance, Count Kazuhito Makoto, shogun of Wa).

Military: The armies loyal to the Emperor are composed of samurai led by shogun who operate under their Daimyo. In an individual clans military, samurai are considered elite warriors, specialized in enforcing the Emperors will. Composition of the main force of armies varies by clan.

Economics: The economy of Anherosh is the most capitalistic in the world, with much focus on the free market. Commoners deal largely in bronze coins and small amounts of electrum. Merchants and nobles also use titanium and mithril coins.

Technology: The gnomes of the east have significantly advanced alchemical knowledge. Those who immigrated from the frozen mountains in centiries past brought the secret of black powder with them (thought lost in the west). The use of flintlock firearms is common for nobles and soldiers (though samurai foreswear them). Steam locomotives allow for rapid travel across the continent. There are also steamships, airships, and balloons available to travelers.

Arngoth

Climate: Arctic

Flora: As one approaches the south pole the trees appear more unhealthy until the forest becomes nothing more than petrified husks.

Fauna: Wolves, spiders, and rats inhabit the woods in the northern regions, but other than those, very few living animals are to be found in Arngoth.

Demographics: None

Government: Arngoth is ruled by the vampire lord X (no that's not his real name) the undisputed dictator for over 1000 years.

Military: Lord Xandros has vampire spawn liutenants and keeps the company of demons. His soldiers are mostly skelletons and zombies and other varieties of undead.

Climate: Tropical

Demographics: Brass Elf dominent, isolated society

Electrum Isles

Climate: Sub-Arctic

Demographics: Electrum Elf dominent, isolated society

Steel Isles

Climate: Temperate

Demographics: Steel Elf dominent, integrated with gnomes, humans, halflings, and vanara
