The Nezumi, or "Ratlings" as they are often called by humans, are a race of ratlike humanoids. Nezumi are nomadic, wandering in packs or tribes.
- +2 Dexterity, +2 Constitution, -2 Charisma
- Medium: As Medium creatures, nezumi have no special bonuses or penalties due to their size.
- Nezumi base land speed is 40 feet.
- Low-Light Vision: A nezumi can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. She retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.
- +2 racial bonus on Stealth checks. Nezumi are naturally stealthy.
- +2 bonus on saving throws against poison and disease: Nezumi are resistant to illness and toxins.
- +2 bonus on smell and hearing based perception checks.

- Bonus Ability: At 1st and 9th level a Nezumi character may choose one of the following abilities:
- Scent (Ex)
- Carrier (Ex) - When a Nezumi with this ability succeeds on a Fortitude save against a disease, he may pass that disease to others with their bite or claw attacks.
- Automatic Languages: Common and Nezumi. Bonus Languages: Goblin, Halfling, Gnome, and Sylvan.
- Favored Class: Rogue
