At one time, Tespians and Solanthians were one people, descended from the fallen nations of Axura, Veralyde, and Neyrdor. A praetor who was at a time of need appointed Dictator refused to give up his power and began conquest to increase its territory. The Consuls rallied the people and cast out the despotic regime. The exiles went forth to establish the Solanthian Empire.
