Discovered tags. Look for them at the bottom of the pages. Right now they're only implemented on the deity pages where they're great for organizing them by their qualities, like race or alignment. Also added this Ebonthorn dude, the greedy tyrrant based on the theoretical love-child of Prince John (the lion) and Lord Blackthorn from Ultima... and maybe Cruella DeVil... I never watched those movies. WOMP-WOW! (Jay & SB high five each other)

Wizard's made an amusing movie about the beholder. Yeah, apparently it does petrification damage much like the paralysis damage I heard about elsewhere. You get so many points and eventually you save or die/whatever. I'm not really behind this. It's not like death/petrification is permanent. Feels like another patch to appease the forum whiners. General GM principle: Be Fair! If the players can't afford a res or stn-2-fsh, don't use those monsters! When they are equipped to handle those foes, they can eat it! Situation in which this should be implemented: NWN. In that, there were no opportunities to get these from your loyal party members, you were just dead. Yep, game designers have still got to learn what works at the table doesn't work on the PC... and vice versa.

Just on a lark, I uploaded my log from the d20 Modern Campaign. Thought it might be interesting for you.

So I downloaded the most recent D&D podcast today, and, knowing that you guys are less than likely to listen to them, I figured I would glean most important information for your (hopefully) benefit. I'll do this according to the order in which I heard things:

1) Greataxe damage reduced, to what? I don't know.. probably a d10 or something. Apparently some people thought that it was broken for doing as much (or more) damage as 2 one handed weapons.

2) Gnomes are def. out (at least from initial release), Warlocks are def. in

3) Spear is changed some.. the new javelin? Unsure.

4) Warlocks can still do the limited LoS teleport unlimited times per day

5) Warlocks can potentially do more damage now, also have power (or w/e they call them in 4e) that moves enemy around battlefield

6) Healing works differently. Various classes get healing powers, including fighters

7) Fighters have new abilities to control enemies' targets (MMOers read: Agro management)
